SMSNotify 2004 Version 2.3 is feature rich over its predecessor
1.0.
With many new options, its a must have for SMS freaks!

unlock your device for SMSNotify to work to its full potential. You

SMSNotify reads contacts from your devices memory and from the
mobile phone number field, not the sim card. A free application to
convert numbers from other fields into the mobile number field can
be arranged on request.
New Features in Version 2.3
1) Sound Profile awareness ( Now plays
tones at levels Silent,1,2,3,4,Loud ) as set in the profile for
Notification Volume
2) Does not mark messages as read by default when the photo popup
is displayed. (Can be overridden by changing a registry key if
desired)
3) New Events –
Mark Message as Read, Delete message, Override SPAM Guard global
Content Filter, and disable photo popup, all per user settings. The
disable photo popup is useful if you have the show popup for all
contacts but do not want it to appear for some messages.
4) Stealth Mode (In Settings -> Application Options) if active, ALL
incoming messages are marked as read, no dialogs will be displayed and
not tones will sound. It is exactly what it states, Stealth.
5) New Code which fixes problems that some users had when the GUI
was reading the contacts.
6) New Default Template for the Contact Display
7) Added more events to filter the contacts by in the SMSNotify GUI
App.
8) Changed the menu structure around a bit.
9) Added an “Unassign User” menu option. If selected it will
completely remove the user registry key and from the SMSNotify user
database.
10) Ability to handle INBOX bug , SMSNotify will now pick up
senders with short numbers, such as a voice mail from a sender of 05.
11) Application signed for Mobile2Market devices and
Verizon Window smartphones.
SMSNotify SPAM Guard
(GLOBAL ACTIONS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE DEMO

SMSNotify now has
SPAM Guard integrated within it.
SPAM Guard allows you to filter out messages from contacts that
contain offensive material or are not contained within your
devices address book.
GLOBAL SETTINGS
- Block all senders not contained within your address book
- Filter ALL messages received which contain certain key words.
- Based on the SPAM Guard rules in force, you can set SMSNotify
to automatically delete messages for good on arrival OR
automatically move them into your trash folder so you can view
them at a later date.
PER USER SETTINGS
- Block a particular user
- Apply filter keywords for a specific user only.
- Again, based on any SPAM guard rules which may be enforced per
user, you can specify at the user level what action you would
like to occur. (IE. Delete or move to trash)

SMSNotify Contact Reminder
(NOT AVAILABLE IN THE DEMO VERSION)

SMSNotify now has
Contact Reminder integrated within it.
- Contact Reminder allows you to set, at the user level, a
reminder dialog when a user has sent you a SMS message. When
this occurs, a dialog reminder will play the contacts default
tone, and optionally vibrate, ever X minutes that you define,
until the dialog is dismissed.

SMSNotify Sender Display For
ALL

First introduced in
Version 2.0 for assigned contacts, Sender Display now allows a
popup dialog to be shown when any SMS message is received.
This allows you to not have to assign a photo
to all contacts where you want the photo popup to be present.
Instead, a default New Message dialog will be presented with the
users number and text content.
The message popup for all contacts is not available in the DEMO
version.
Sender Display also allows you to reply straight from the popup
window without having to return to your SMS INBOX
Each Sender display screen is customizable by creating your own
HTML layout.
New attributes added in version 2.2 are:

- Sender Display (Allows a popup image of who has sent
you a SMS. Fully customizable allowing you to edit what
information is displayed and where you want by customizing the
html template.)

per contact!

This can be setup
globally, or an individual customized message for each contact.
- Application Hooks (Create your own add-ins for SMSNotify either for
individual use, or for re-sale) SMSNotify allows Native (C++) or
Managed (.NET) applications to be invoked after reception of
incoming SMS messages. Refer to documentation on further details.
- More customized Events (Assign Tones , Vibrate On SMS, Silent Mode on SMS -
Don't play a tone at all, Override sound profile - Allows an tone
event to play per contact even if the mobile device is on Silent!,
and a incoming SMS counter per contact)
- Global settings (This includes assigning a default tone, so if a
contact is not managed by SMS Notify, the default tone will be
played instead, Allowing the Override sound profile feature for
all contacts and Disabling all events for all contacts. Global Out
Of Office is also available)
- Improved GUI
(SMS Notify has a revamped Graphical User Interface) allowing you
to filter contacts by Event type and to search for a contact
quickly by typing the first characters of their name)
- Support for images and tones on Storage
