Mobile Media Maker (Smartphone)
This
software lets you convert all your media to your smartphone and watch it in
great quality, with stereo sound and in full screen landscape mode. A memorycard
as small as 128 Mb is enough to store a full length feature film or 100 minutes
of home movies and TV-programming. Never a dull moment with video on the go.
Take blockbuster movies with you while you travel, or keep
the kids busy in the car with their favourite tv-cartoons. You can watch your
media on any Windows Mobile-based Smartphone, such as the Orange SPV-series,
Motorola, Mitac, etc. from a postage stamp size memory card. The software installs
an encoding package on a PC with Windows XP, and a free player on the mobile
phone. You pick a video file from the harddrive, CD, or DVD and with only three
clicks, the software turns it into a super small movie file, which will play
on the provided mediaplayer.
The headset or the built-in speaker can be used to listen to
the sound. Subtitled and foreign language DVDs are also supported. Feature films
look crisp and sharp on the phone and still fit on a relatively small Secure
Digital card.
The free tryout version allows you to convert 5 minutes of a
DVD.
Note: if you have a Pocket PC Phone, such as
XDA, you would need another software product, called DVD-to-Pocket PC
This software was not designed or produced to circumvent technology that effectively protects access to, or restricts the duplication of, copyrighted material. It has a commercially significant purpose other than to circumvent; being primarily designed to transcode home movies, tv-programming, personal video and audio files, and feature films from a users harddrive and/or on removable media. It does not produce digitally identical copies, but transcodes into a lossy, strongly compressed file. Its sole purpose is to enable a platform- and timeshift allowing playback of lawfully aquired content, under the fair use principle.
